So, I had been dating this girl for about six months with a two month break in between, let's call her "Jackie". It was when we got back together I realized that things weren't going to work. She said that we just need to communicate more, but it never happened, we always just sat in awkward silence until one of us had to leave.
Before we get to the actual break-up, I want to do a little back-story. So a few years back my friends introduced me to this girl, not the one I broke up with, let's call her "Amanda." Amanda was a nice girl from the very start, She invited me to all her parties, and helped me out with my homework and essays. She was funny, she would often make fun of my now best friend, "Franklin," which I found hilarious. She was also super smart, she had one of the highest GPAs in the school, and passed even the most advanced classes. And I swear she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, and to this day I am deeply in love with her. Unfortunately, when I told her about my feelings, she dropped the F-Bomb on me. Yep, that was my first ever "friend-zone." I was crushed, I never felt so terrible in my life. But I stayed adamant, and year after year I would ask her, and year after year she denied me. I realize that she can make whatever choice she wants, but I couldn't help but to want to be with her. I guess she must have gotten tired of me asking, because after the fourth confession, she suggested I go out with Jackie, whom I had met a month earlier. I knew she had a thing for me, and Amanda said we would be cute together. I don't know why, but the words "cute together" hit me really hard. Just the thought of being with someone other than her felt wrong. Things did go wrong eventually, I guess that's what happens when you go out with someone because the love of your life asks you to. I probably should have seen that coming. After dancing with Jackie at one of the parties, I became infatuated with her. I asked her out on a date, and she of course said yes. Now I had never gone out on a date before so I didn't know exactly what to do. And no one told me that movie dates are the worst first date you could go on. We sat in the theater eating our popcorn, eyes glued to the screen, not even looking at each other; the first of many awkward experiences. The worst part was that Amanda offered to drive us around since neither I or Jackie bothered to learn how to. Amanda couldn't have been more happy to see me going out with another girl, which I understand is something friends do, but when that friend has recently broken your heart, it kinda stings a little.
Fast forward four months. Now at this point we've decided to break things off for a while. Jackie has started dating this guy, let's call him "Matt." I had no problem with Jackie dating Matt, in fact I was happy that she found someone she could actually talk to. Matt and I are also good friends so, I was happy for both of them. Now with no one to distract my feelings, I began to feel old emotions rising again, I would often hang out with Amanda like we used to, but not in a way that would give any hints, just talking, and study sessions. I should have realized then that this was what it was meant to be like. Being single wasn't a bad thing, in fact I love being single. It makes you appreciate all the free time you once had to hang out with friends and get work done. This didn't last very long, because Jackie and Matt eventually broke up. I never got the exact details of why or how, but I do know that Jackie broke up with Matt, because she realized that she still loved me even though she was the one who broke up with me for Matt in the first place. Matt explained to me that he cared for her, and he wanted to see her happy, and that I should take her back. And I, being the stupid confused kid at the time, said "of course." And so, we began dating each other once more. The rekindled infatuation didn't last long, and I realized about a month in that things weren't going to work. Now came the biggest problem, how to break it to her. Now, just because I wasn't in love with Jackie doesn't mean I didn't care about her. She was genuinely sweet and innocent, and I couldn't bare to see her sad or upset.
It was only a few weeks later that I built up the courage to tell her, mind you I gave no clue as to how I really felt, in fact I made it seem like everything was just dandy, which in hindsight wasn't the best idea. Of course, when I told her she was really confused. She asked me "Why? Why?" and I said "I'm sorry, I just don't think you're the one for me." At this point her sadness began to turn to anger. Something I had never seen in her before suddenly began to show. She said, "how dare you have the audacity to lead me on for so long. You know what? Fuck you." The words "fuck you" would have hurt less if she hadn't smiled and started walking away. But as I sat there, ashamed of what I had done, she did the worst thing she could have done to me. She turned back with tears running down her face and said, "I really did love you." And continued walking away. That must have been one of the worst days of my life. Eventually the sadness subsided, and she forgot all about me, which was probably for the best. Not once in our whole relationship did we ever say "I love you" to one another. But if I could go back and change what I did, I would have never gone out with her. I would have never gotten back together with her. I would have never led her on to believe that I loved her. And I would have never broken her heart.

My girlfriend and I were dating for a few months, and things were going really great until I felt pressured to tell her I loved her. I didn't want to be the one to cut things off because she told me about her post breakup anorexia, so I waited, getting more miserable because she never listened to my feelings. One weekend she invited me to her house, which was an ordeal because she didn't include me with her family or friends, and I got into an argument with her. On the way back to college, she broke up with me in front of her mom and sister. I couldn't believe it. She said she thought I needed help and that she couldn't talk it out because she needed to eat lunch with her family, but she contacted my dad and friends to let them know how distraught I was before I could. Later when I asked over Facebook if she would give me a movie ticket I paid for that she was holding for me, she said that she gave it to her stepmom. I proceeded to call her a bitch. Soon after I was greeted by a message from her father saying he called the police. Nothing happened, but during the next week or two, she proceeded to blog about me numerous times after saying she didn't blame me. Once I used the private blog she recommended to me to process things, but she passed my link to all her friends and one of them compared my to the shat out remains of Hitler after reblogging what I thought was a private post. Needless to say we are not on speaking terms.

He broke up with me because he met a girl that was more into Robotics than I was. I always knew he was a geek, but robotics? Really? It was more surprising/embarrassing than painful.

Last summer I met a guy in my office..he was kind, handsome, funny and shy. We became friends and i fell for him. On 8th June we kissed and started our relationship. He was my everything and i loved him more than anything in this world. I used to dream about marring him and did every possible thing to make him happy. We even talked about getting married and having kids. I used to think he loves me dearly and cannot stay without me. Then suddenly after 18 months of relationship he says he never loved me and was acting the whole time. I was devastated, could not eat, sleep or work. I would go to office and cry hysterically in office bathroom . Its been 1 month he broke up with me and right now i am feeling little better. He did not even try to find out how i am doing..He moved on very quickly. But Its fine.. right now i really don't care..now when i think, he was not a good bf atall..he insulted me million times i listened to them happily. Well I might not love anybody the way i loved him, i might not be free with anybody the way I was with him, there is a big hole in my heart which may never ever heal..but its fine.. life moves on and i am moving forward with it :)

WHAT AN ASS!!!

One day I was just walking around with my cousin kyla and we were walking my dog angel and then kyla said to me "becca, look over there that boy keeps looking at you" then I was going so red I felt like a tomato. Then my cousin said to me "ummm becca want to play dares" so I said "sure" so she then dared me to go over to him and talk to him, honestly I shit myself, but I then did the dare and got to know him and before we knew it we had been going out for just four months. I was the jealous type of girl but then our friend Tasha started to come out with us and she was acting like such a tart as she was flirting constantly with my boyfriend. I began to think what kind of friends does that and then I noticed him staring at her and flirting back but I thought it was me being paranoid the whole time. Then I kept going on about him looking at her and then one night he went nuts because I would not answer my phone as I was on the phone to my friend and he started to be really cheeky out of nowhere and I asked what was wrong and he said "you, all you do is accuse me of flirting with Tasha" and then I said "well maybe if you took your eyes off her breasts then I wouldn't be" then I asked again if he did like her and he then said "No, but I think shes hot" I thought to myself "hes a creep" so then he ended it but me and my cousin thought he cheated but we didn't care that much to find out and not long after we broke up he was with her and had sex and whatever else.

okay. Well' i've been with this girl for 15 months. We had a great time together and it felt like we were in love and would be together forever. This whole time though, she loved to cuss. I just ignored it because I felt like I could overlook something like that. Then around the 15th month, it got really bad. She'd curse more often around me and even said fuck you to my face, addressed at me, and she eventually wound up telling me it started off as a "screw you". What ended it was that I told her to stop cussing at me and she said she needed space alone to think about why she was acting like that with me. After she told me that, I completely lost all interest and firmly resolved to end it. I did, 3 days later

well there was this girl, her name was Marie. She was beautiful, funny and really smart. I loved her with all my heart. I started sacrificing my lunch to save money and take her out to see the twilight premiere. Then she just stopped talking to me and the next thing I know she starts posting love statuses on some other guys profile. When we finally spoke she told me she kissed him during their date and they were watching twilight. I died inside, I felt hurt. I practically wrote her a book of poems for her birthday but she never appreciated it. I just don't know how I got into this.

Well, this guy and I started dating last summer. I've known him for such a long time (since elementary school maybe) and we were just like best friends. At first.. I thought it'd all turn out fine. There was still that shimmer of doubt but my heart blinded me to the point where I was convinced that we were unbreakable.

I remember when we used to pull all nighters on the phone and my dad would be SO mad because I didn't sleep at all that night and didn't want to get up in the morning.. The thing was, he had a girlfriend. He dumped her for me. Of course, I felt really guilty, but, I really liked him and the truth is, I was very flattered because I didn't think anyone would ever do that for me. He was literally my everything. I adored him in every way possible. He was so funny; he'd always make me laugh and I could have sworn we were made for each other. All my friends LOVED him, his personality is literally the best.. he's sensitive

So in short I started dating this guy in freshmen year and we were each others first everything. Relationship ,kiss I mean everything. We were together all threw high school and we were both going to the same college and were renting a cute little apartment together and I thought things were better than ever. Are sex life and relationship was more active than it's ever been. Then one day out of the blue I come home make a nice romantic meal and while we are eating he tells me it's over because my mean spirited boss flirts with me and being a woman him flirting and being my boss means I am defiantly cheats (I was not I never would). I was upset and went to my sister and come morning he is gone. So I am crushed but just keep going until I miss my period a few weeks later. I imminently called him (at this point he was in a band) and some girl answers talking about how she had him tied up and begging for it. Funny to me since he always made a big deal out of the fact that we had only slept with each other turns out 'mr sex is more than sex' was busy screwing a lot of people. I blocked his calls. A few months later his friend sees me in the store and tells him im pregnant and he shows up 'I made the biggest mistake of my life I love you blah blah blah' He left me for no good reason and at this point I heard about his MANY MANY hook ups (I mean people were telling me about how he is having 3 ways and screwing girls in bathrooms) I told him I didn't want some aids ridden band loser who would leave me for nothing and that he could have visitation. I just threw him out and can't stop crying.

I've got comedy gold for you right here. I was dating this guy for about a month. We were at his house making out when I decided to play a rather off color prank. I asked him how he would feel if he discovered that I had been born a man. I realize it may have been over the line but I had no idea what kind of reaction I was in for. He took several steps back and said, "Were you?" I said, "Absolutely not. I was kidding." He did not believe me at all and said I made him feel sexually confused. He kept trying to get a confession from me and even asked to see a childhood photo album. After about 15 minutes trying to convince him it was a joke and about 10 minutes of really awkward silence, he told me that I am either a man or completely insane to think that joke was funny. I went home and we feuded about the joke for a while and decided that we are ultimately incompatible.
